Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera revolving system that corrects strangeness on an image resulting from difference in amount of change in image between pan operation and tilt operation and that improves subject followability such that high speed operation is achieved even on the telescopic side.SOLUTION: A camera revolving system comprises: an imaging device composed of a lens 22 with a zoom function, and a camera 23; a universal head 21 that pan-/tilt-drives the imaging device; and an operation device 10 that is able to perform a pan-/tilt-operation for the universal head. The system further comprises: operation amount detection means that detects an amount of operation of the pan-/tilt-operation part 10 by the operation device; zoom position detection means that detects the zoom position of the imaging device; dependency setting means that sets a zoom dependency indicating the degree such that the smaller the decrease of speed of the drive of the pan-/tilt-drive of the universal head, the closer to the telescopic side even if the amounts of operation of the pan-/tilt-operation part are the same; and control means that controls the pan-/tilt-drive at a speed based on the amount of operation, zoom position, and zoom dependency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
