Abstract:
To provide a head-up display device that is compact and can project a virtual image at a plurality of distances.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 100 comprises: a display element 11; a projection optical system 15 that enlarges an image formed on the display element 11; an intermediate screen 16m that has a diffusion function and is arranged on a light-emission side of the projection optical system 15; and an enlargement projection optical system 17 that enlarges and projects an intermediate image TI formed on the intermediate screen 16m. The enlargement projection optical system 17 has a first mirror 17a and a second mirror 17b in order from the intermediate screen 16m, and the intermediate screen 16m is arranged substantially parallel to light close to the intermediate screen 16m and on the outermost side of a light beam between the first mirror 17a and second mirror 17b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
