Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device which can prevent external light from being reflected to a reflecting surface during movement from a housing position to an expansion position of a reflecting plate.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 1 includes an irradiation unit 2 for radiating display light L1, a reflecting plate 3 having a reflecting surface 30 for reflecting the display light, an antiglare cover 5, and a support mechanism for supporting the reflecting plate and the antiglare cover so as to allow them to freely move. The support mechanism is configured so that the antiglare cover is kept in such a covering position as to cover at least a part of the reflecting surface during movement from a standby position to an expansion position of the reflecting plate and is allowed to move between the covering position and an exposure position for exposing the part of the reflecting surface in response to locating the reflecting plate in the expansion position.
