Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mainly corner missing parts to cut away parts of reflecting mirrors having a rectangular basic shape, thereby reducing the size of a head-up display device.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a head-up display device 21 comprising: an image display unit 27 that can display an image 23; reflecting mirrors 28, 29 that reflect the image 23 displayed on the image display unit 27 to project the image 23 on a front window glass 4 of a vehicle 1; and a casing 22 that accommodates the reflecting mirrors 28, 29. The reflecting mirrors 28, 29 have a rectangular basic shape and have a curved surface shape. The reflecting mirrors 28, 29 having a rectangular basic shape have corner missing parts 42 to 44 at one or two of four corner parts 31 to 34. The reflecting mirrors 28, 29 are installed inside the casing 22 such that at least one of the corner missing parts 42 to 44 is located below the reflecting mirrors 28, 29.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
