PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of color aberration and obtain a compact holographic combiner by forming a regular reflection type hologram at a hologram base with a sawtooth like profile and bonding a complementarily-shaped transparent cover thereto.

CONSTITUTION: In a combiner used for a head up display device, a Fresnel lens type base (a recessed-surface sawtooth-shaped base) 61 is provided with a regular reflection type hologram 62 formed in the sawtooth shape, and thereto is adhered a complementarily-shaped transparent cover (a protruding-surface Fresnel lens type cover) 63. The hologram 62 has interference fringes parallel to each recessed surface. A curved-surface holographic combiner can be made thin and flat by forming the regular-reflection type hologram 62 at the curved- surface Fresnel lens type base 61 and bonding them with the recessed-surface Fresnel lens type cover 63.
