Abstract:

To prevent a printed rating or the like from being viewed by means of a shading action of an extension and thereby provide an effect extremely excellent in improving the appearance of this kind of headlamp.

Because this headlamp 1 is provided, on a reflecting surface 2a side of a base receiving part 3, with an extension 7 to conceal a base 5 of a bulb 5, the purpose is accomplished by shading printed letters 5b such as a specification number, a rating and the like which are printed on the base 5 of the bulb 4 by means of the extension 7 so as to prevent them from being viewed even in the headlamp where a luminous intensity distribution characteristic is formed by a reflecting mirror and its lens is so formed as to be transparent in conjunction with it.
