Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heald frame useful for a weaving machine, etc., capable of simplifying a structure, preventing fluff and uneven weave and improving durability and maintenance, by attaching a damper to a nippingly holding part and fitting a heald bar suspending member to the damper.
SOLUTION: A frame comprises a vertical frame stave 1 and a right and a left side stays and a nippingly holding part is installed at the inner edge of the frame stave 1. The nippingly holding part is equipped with a damper 10 made of an elastic material and a heald bar suspending member 20 is fitted to the damper 10. The nippingly holding part is composed of two foldable, openable and closable nipping pieces 3 and a connecting part 12 of the damper 10 is nipped by the nipping pieces 3 to connect and fix the damper. The surfaces of root positions of the nipping pieces 3 are provided with recessed grooves 4 for facilitating folding, opening and closing. The insides of the root positions of the nippingly holding part is furnished with a gap 7 for the recess of the damper 10 and an insert 11 is preferably embedded in the interior of the damper 10.
