Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a procedure regarding the acquisition of a band by representing the propagation delay of a communication medium by using an identifier. SOLUTION: A band acquiring means 609 of a 2nd transmission device 614 after stopping the transmission of a 1st transmission device 606 uses a propagation delay identifier 105 and a maximum transmit data amount 605 read out of the 1st transmission device 606 to find the band that the 1st transmission device 606 used, and starts transmission by using this band. When the transmission device is switched, the band is neither returned nor reacquired, so the necessary procedure is simplified. Further, the band can effectively be used by using the propagation delay identifier.
