In this hearth structure of the rotary hearth furnace in which an annular hearth 110 is placed on an annular rotary frame 100, and a floor board 130 is laid on a top face of the hearth, the hearth and the floor board are composed of a plurality of hearth components 111 and a plurality of floor boards 131 formed into a circular arc shape, prescribed clearances are formed between the adjacent hearth components and between the adjacent floor board components, respectively, the hearth components 111 and the rotary frame 100 are connected at one section by a fixing component 121, and a direction control component 109 is disposed to control the thermal elongating direction of the hearth component 111.
