Abstract:
To provide a heat absorbing film and a color cathode ray tube using the same capable of having a good bonding property with a conductive reflecting film and preventing color shift and color purity variation.
This heat absorbing film is provided on a conductive reflecting film formed on a phosphor surface 11 on an inner surface of a panel 10 of this color cathode ray tube 1, and contains heat absorbing material and SiO2. The color cathode ray tube 1 includes the heat absorbing film formed on the conductive reflecting film. Carbon fine powder is suitable for heat absorbing material.
