Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the occurrence of the overcooling phenomenon of a heat accumulating material, by a method wherein a specified quantity of a nucleating agent is added to a zinc sulfate hexahydrate used as a latent heat accumulating material at a comparatively low temperature.
CONSTITUTION: At least one type of strontium hydroxide or its octahydrate and barium hydroxide or its octahydrate is added as a nucleating agent in the ratio of 0.005W3wt%, preferably about 0.01W1wt% to a zinc sulfate hexahydrate.
