Abstract:
To provide a heat-adhesive fiber in which the outer layer for imparting adhesiveness to the surface of a fiber is tightly integrated, and the detachment between the fiber and the outer layer is generally suppressed and the surface has a low frictional resistance and smoothly knitted fabrics can be made with a knitting machine.SOLUTION: The heat-adhesive fiber of the present invention is characterized to have a fiber main body and an outer layer covering the surface of the fiber body and containing 100 pts.mass of an ethylene-based copolymer and 1 to 96 pts.mass of a wax having a melting point of 40 to 150°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
