Abstract:
The vehicle heating system is disclosed in which a plurality of functionally cooperating electrical and/or electronic components which are connected to one another are connected via bus lines which not only permit functional linking but also the exchange of signals. As a result, the cabling in vehicle heating systems is simplified, and in particular the functional components which are necessary for operating the heating device of the vehicle heating system can each be configured suitably for their functions. The vehicle heating system comprises at least one control device with a central processing device and a read-only memory, a driver for the heating device and an operating and display device which are all connected to one another via bus lines. Furthermore, a time switch, a remote-control device, a passenger-compartment temperature control device and a diagnostic device can be additionally connected using more bus lines.
