To obtain the subject product capable of simply and strongly bonding to a cloth to be bonded with an iron, etc., when used for hems of trousers, etc., and sufficiently retaining the flexibility of a bonded part by arranging many hot-melt adhesive parts in the form of spots at a prescribed interval on a substrate such as a fabric and fixing the adhesive thereto.
This heat bonding tape is obtained by piling up a hot-melt adhesive 2 (e.g. nylon 6) in the form of spots 3 on at least one surface of a substrate 1 composed of a fabric, a nonwoven fabric or a stretch film, arranging and fixing the many spots 3 comprising the hot-melt adhesive 2 at a prescribed interval thereto. A thin fabric comprising nylon fibers, etc., is preferred as the substrate 1. A thin fabric such as a georgette or a fabric excellent in stretchability such as a knit fabric is especially preferred. A conical form having 0.5-1.5mm diameter and the rounded top is preferred as the shape of the spots 3 comprising the hot-melt adhesive 2. The height of the spots 3 is preferably 0.2-1 of the diameter. The interval of the spots 3 is preferably 0.5-2 times of the diameter of the spots 3.
