To provide a heat chamber for an oil burning appliance suppressing smoke and dividing of flame, and realizing improvement of combustion performance.
A wick 4 is attached so that it can vertically move to a gap of a wick housing cylinder composed of a wick inner cylinder 1 and a wick outer cylinder 2, and the heat chamber A is arranged in an upper part of the wick housing cylinder 3. The heat chamber A is composed of an inner burner cylinder 5, an outer burner cylinder 6, and an outer cylinder 7 concentrically held by a crossing pin 8. One through hole 9 of the inner burner cylinder 5 or the outer burner cylinder 6 for passing through the crossing pin 8 is formed as an oblong hole 9a, and an air control member 10 protruding in an opposite side of a gap B between the inner burner cylinder 5 and the outer burner cylinder 6 is formed around the oblong hole 9a. When the heat chamber A is mounted, the inner burner cylinder 5 and the outer burner cylinder 6 move for an amount of the oblong hole 9a, and the wick inner cylinder 1 and the wick outer cylinder 2 contact the inner burner cylinder 5 and the outer burner cylinder 6. The air control member 10 regulates air flowing into the gap B from the oblong hole 9a to prevent excessive air inflow to the gap B.
