Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a color image high in density and restrained in color fog even in heat development at high temp. in a short time by incorporating at least one kind of a specified compd.

CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive material contains on a support at least photosensitive silver halide, a binder, and a compd. producing or releasing a mobile dye in response or reverse response to the reaction that this silver halide is reduced to silver in a state of high temp., and further, at least one of compds. represented by the formula in which each of R1, R2, and R3 is H, halogen, OH, cyano, an optionally substd. aliphatic hydrocarbon, aryl, or heterocyclic group, R11-SO2-, or R12-CO-; R11 is an optionally substd. aliphatic hydrocarbon, aryl, heterocyclic, amino, alkyl, or aryloxy group; R12 is H or same as R11; and X is halogen. This compd. of the formula is dissolved in water or water- miscible org. solvent, such as methanol, and added to a coating soln. or dissolved in a water-incompatible org. solvent or oil and emulsified and added to the coating soln.
