To provide a heat developable photosensitive material which lessens the change in optical density and does not give rise to a white spot fault even if the heat developable photosensitive material in the form of fabricated goods to make the heat developable photosensitive material having a good image preservable property after heat development obtainable in a short heat development time at a smaller coating weight of silver is preserved in the form of a package, and a developing method.
The heat developable photosensitive material includes a photosensitive silver halide, non-photosensitive organic silver salt, binder and the compound expressed by the following general formula (R) on the same surface of a support, in which at least a portion of the heat developable photosensitive material is packaged by a packaging material formed with a protective film consisting of a UV curing resin on the surface in contact with the heat developable photosensitive material and formed at least partly of paper by folding the packaging material in the state of bringing at least a portion of the heat developable photosensitive material into contact with the packaging material.
