Abstract:

To provide a film for medical diagnosis or a film for photographic plate making, which has high sensitivity and is low in fogging.

The heat developable photosensitive material is characterized in containing at least one kind of photosensitive silver halide, a nonphotosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ion, and a binder and further containing at least one kind of compound expressed by general formula (A). In the general formula (A), R1 represents hydroxyl group (or its salt), an alkoxy group, aryloxy group, heterocyclic oxy group, acyloxy group, mercapto group (or its salt), alkylthio group, arylthio group, heterocyclic thio group, amino group, alkylamino group, arylamino group, heterocyclic amino group, acylamino group, sulfonamide group or heterocyclic group, R2 represents a monovalent substituent which can be substituted except for hydrogen atom, alkoxy group, aryloxy group, alkylthio group, arylthio group and acylamino group, and each of E1 and E2 independently represents an electron withdrawing group.
