Abstract:
To provide a heat developable sensitive material excellent in sensitivity, adhesion and pressure resistance, and to provide an image forming method for the same.
The heat developable sensitive material is obtained by disposing an image forming layer containing a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder on at least one surface of a support, wherein ≥50%, in terms of projected area, of grains of the photosensitive silver halide have an aspect ratio of 2-100 and the binder contains an aqueous dispersion of a hydrophobic polymer. The image forming method for the material is also provided.
