PURPOSE: To project the light from light sources to the ice exhibition body of a low-temperature room through a heat ray cut filter and improve the illumination effect with no heat radiation by discharging the heat generated by the built-in sources of heat insulating light source units in the heat discharging type illumination method for an ice exhibition body to the outside of the low- temperature room through a heat discharging duct.
CONSTITUTION: Multiple light source units 20 are suspended from the heat insulating top wall 11 of a low-temperature room 1 at a proper interval and arranged at positions on the rear side of a ceiling inner wall 11a where an ice exhibition body 2 is formed. A heat insulating lining 22 is provided on the side wall with a U-shaped cross section of the case 21 of the unit 20, the opened side face of the U-shaped cross section is closed by a heat ray cut filter 26 and a transparent glass 27, and it is held so that the light is reflected by the reflecting plate 24 of a protecting tool 23 fitted in this unit 20. A light source 30 is stored in a protecting cylinder 25, and a heat discharging passage 31 is formed around the light source 30. The heat generated by the light source 30 is absorbed by the air stream in this passage 31.
