Title:
HEAT-DRIVEN TYPE REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06137697
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize an appropriate relation in phase with pressure and to improve the efficiency and capacity as an apparatus by driving two displacers of a high temperature and a low temperature with a prescribed phase difference and further by providing a variable-volume space in a working fluid circuit.

CONSTITUTION: Two displacers, a high-temperature displacer 2 which replaces periodically a high-temperature space 4 overheated from outside and a medium- temperature space 5A as a radiator part by each other by putting a working fluid in communication through a heat accumulator 7 and a low-temperature displacer 3 which replaces a low-temperature space 6 generating cold and a medium-temperature space 5B by each other by passing the working fluid through a cold accumulator 8, are driven with a fixed prescribed phase difference. A variable-volume space 19 is provided additionally in a working fluid circuit which is so constructed that the fluid goes in and out of the temperature spaces continuously and periodically. Thereby occurrence of work in the heat accumulator 7 and heat transport in the cold accumulator 8 are increased and also efficiency is improved. Moreover, such secondary effects as reduction of vibration and noise are also produced.
