Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanging member and a heat exchanger in which a heat exchange efficiency is improved and an increasing of pressure loss is restricted.
A honeycomb structure 1 acting as a heat exchanging member has several cells 3 partitioned by ceramics partition walls 4, axially passing from one end surface to the other end surface to cause a first fluid to flow therein. When a coefficient of thermal conductivity of material quality of the partition walls 4 of the honeycomb structure 1 is defined as λ[W/K.m], a wall thickness of the partition wall 4 of the cell structure of the honeycomb structure 1 is defined as t[mm] and a cell density is defined as ρ[pcs./sq.inch], it will be defined as 1000/λ≤t×ρ≤80.
