To provide a processing method of a heat exchanger capable of efficiently separating lubricant remaining in piping of the heat exchanger in recycling the heat exchanger.
This processing method of the heat exchanger comprises a cutting process for cutting the heat exchanger to allow a plurality of opening portions of piping constituting the heat exchanger to come out, a heat exchanger installing process for installing the heat exchanger in such manner that the plurality of opening portions of the piping are faced to a rotating means rotatable by a driving means, outward with respect to the center of rotation of the rotating means, and a centrifugal separation process for separating substances in the piping of the heat exchanger from the heat exchanger by rotating the rotating means by the driving means.
