To provide a tube type heat exchanger having excellent heat exchange performance without extending piping length of the heat exchanger.
The heat exchanger includes a first tube 3 inside which fluid A is made to flow and a plurality of second tubes 5 inside which fluid B is made to flow and which are arranged within the first tube 3. On the outer surface of the second tube 5, at least a plurality of recesses 7 recessed to the radial inner side and grooves 6 having predetermined depth are arranged in the axial direction and the circumferential direction, respectively. Due to the large number of the recesses 7 and grooves 6 provided on the outer surfaces of the second tubes 5, a heat transfer area with respect to the fluid A can be expanded, and a flow of the fluid A made to flow along the outer surfaces of the second tubes 5 can be disturbed, so as to improve heat exchange performance.
