Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger and a refrigeration cycle device that can uniformize a refrigerant supplied to heat transfer pipes.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger according to an embodiment comprises a first header, a second header, a plurality of heat transfer pipes, and a partition plate. The first header and the second header extend in a vertical direction, and are mutually arranged at an interval. The heat transfer pipes are connected between the first header and the second header. A connection pipe is connected to the first header, and supplies a gas refrigerant and a liquid refrigerant into the first header. The partition plate extends in the vertical direction, and partitions the inside of the first header into a first space on the side of the connection pipe and a second space on the side of the heat transfer pipes. In the connection pipe, an upper opening part and a lower opening part are formed in an upper part and a lower part, respectively. A communication passage allowing communication between the first space and the second space is formed below the partition plate. In the partition plate, a plurality of communication holes allowing communication between the first space and the second space are formed in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
