Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger which dispenses with seizing work at the tip of a flat tube to positively prevent blocking of a heat exchange medium passage of the flat tube; and moreover regulates the insertion allowance of the flat tube into a header pipe to a predetermined amount.
The heat exchanger comprises: a pair of header pipes; and the flat tubes with both ends inserted in the header pipes to allow the pair of header pipes to communicate with each other, wherein at least one end of the flat tube is cut obliquely in the thickness direction or/and obliquely in the width direction, and the tip of the tube cut part is abutted on the inner surface of the header pipe.
