To provide a heat exchanger capable of being reduced in coolant filling amount.
This heat exchanger is provided with a pair of right and left tanks 2 extending in the vertical direction, a plurality of heat exchange tubes 4 arranged in parallel at intervals in the vertical direction between both the tanks 2 and having both end parts connected to each of both the tanks 2, a fin 5 arranged between the adjacent heat exchange tubes 4, and a liquid receiver 7 mounted on the left tank 2. The liquid receiver 7 is provided with a cylindrical body 26 extending in the vertical direction and having at least an opened lower end, and a lower cap 27 fitted into the lower end part of the cylindrical body 26 to close the opening of the lower end. The lower cap 27 has a bottom wall 30 and a peripheral wall 31. The lower end part of the cylindrical body 26 is fitted into the peripheral wall 31. In the cylindrical body 26 of the liquid receiver 7, a coolant inflow port 38 for delivering coolant from the left tank 2 to the liquid receiver 2 is formed. A coolant outflow port 34 for delivering coolant from the liquid receiver 7 to the left tank 2 is formed on the peripheral wall 31 of the lower cap 26.
