Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which includes a flat tube and a header collection tube, and, when operating in a function as an evaporator, secures more circulation amount of liquid refrigerant into a plurality of flat tubes positioned in a lower part of a heat exchange region of a bottom stage of an upper heat exchange part.SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger (23), when operating in a function of an evaporator, the liquid refrigerant flowing through a flat tube of a third auxiliary heat exchange part (52c) of a lower heat exchange part (52) flows, in a second header collection tube (70), upward from a sixth partial region (72c) of a lower header part (72) and into a first partial region (71a) of an upper header part (71), and then flows into a first main heat exchange region (51a) of an upper heat exchange part (51) to perform heat exchange. In the upper header part (71) of the second header collection tube (70), a predetermined number of flat tubes (33as) from a bottom portion of the first main heat exchange region (51a) each have an insertion amount into the first partial region (71a) corresponding to the first main heat exchange region (51a) that is set shorter than an insertion margin of a flat tube (33al) above the flat tubes (33as).
