Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a heat exchanger having excellent corrosion-resistance, prevented from incomplete combustion and lowering of heat exchange efficiency, etc., and useful for instantaneous hot-water heater, etc., by coating the surface of a heat-transfer member with zinc and further a polyborosiloxane, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The aimed heat exchanger obtained by applying electric zinc plating to the surface of a heat-transfer member consisting of a drum 1 made of aluminum, heat absorbing fin and heat exchanging tube 2 and further forming a coating film layer of ceramics-based material obtained by adding phosphate glass to a polyborosiloxane or polytitanocarbosilane thereon.
