Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6428494
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To uniformize distribution of air speed and further provide a substantial improvement over heat exchanging performance by a method wherein a group of fins are divided into some segments, fin pitch of a group of fins near a fan is made fine and another fin pitch of a group of fins far from the fan is made rough.

CONSTITUTION: A group of thermal conducting pipes 12 of a heat exchanger 11 is divided into some segments and a group of thermal conducting fins 13b near a fan 14 are arranged to have a fin pitch finer than that of the group of thermal conducting fins 13a far from the fan. With this arrangement, aeration resistance is high near the fan 14 and the aeration resistance far from the fan 14 is decreased, so that gas may easily flow far from the fan 14. As a result, the distribution of air speed passing through the heat exchanger 11 is made uniform and a heat exchanging with fluid flowing in the group of thermal conducting pipes 12 is unified and a heat exchanging performance is improved.
