Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a heat shielding plate to be easily and positively fixed, prevent a barrel plate of a heat exchanging boiler from being exposed to heat, prevent fatigue caused by heat and to enable stable use of the boiler for a long period of time.
SOLUTION: A combustion chamber 20 is disposed inside and enclosed by a barrel plate 10 at its side circumference. Combustion heat generated at the combustion chamber 20 is passed through a heat exchanger 30 composed of heat exchanging pipes 33 having fins 31 spaced apart at the upper part of the combustion chamber 20 so as to perform a heat exchanging operation. A heat shielding plate 40 for use in protecting the barrel plate 10 against the combustion heat is disposed in a cylindrical manner along an inside part of the barrel plate 10 so as to constitute the heat exchanging boiler. At two opposing locations of the heat shielding plate 40 formed in a cylindrical shape are arranged hook members 60 extending upwardly. Extremity end sections 63 of a pair of hook members 60 are engaged with the upper ends of a group of fins 31 arranged in a row and then the heat shielding plate 40 is fixed.
