PURPOSE: To improve the heat exchanging efficiency by a method wherein the above device is provided with a reducer, whose small-diametral end is connected to the inlet port end of a heat transfer circular tube, a semi-spherical shell body, connected to the large-diametral side of the reducer, and a supplying port, supplying fluid heat medium along the inner surface of the semi-spherical shell body.
CONSTITUTION: This deice is provided with a reducer 1, connected to the inlet port end of a heat transfer tube 6 through the small-diametrical end thereof, a semi-spherical shell body 3, connected to the large-diametral side of the reducer 1 directly or through a straight tube 2, a supplying port 4, supplying fluid along the inner surface of the semi-spherical shell body 3, and a baffle plate 5. When axial flow, in which the whirling direction speed component is nearly zero and having an annular minimum flow speed distribution, is introduced into the upstream side of a heat exchanging pipe and the fluid is introduced into the heat transfer tube 6 through the reducer 1, heat exchange is effected while inducing a whirling component in the flow speed of the heat medium naturally. According to this method, bubbles 9, generated on the wall of the heat transfer tube 6 generating boiling, can be removed immediately from the wall of the tube whereby the deterioration of heat transfer performance due to the generation of bubbles in the heat transfer tubes accompanying boiling, can be prevented.
