Title:
HEAT GENERATING BODY FOR INCINERATOR, THERMAL INSULATOR FOR INCINERATOR, PRODUCTION THEREOF AND INCINERATOR EQUIPPED WITH HEAT GENERATING BODY AND/OR THERMAL INSULATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3192395
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small heat generating body generating high temperature of 1700°C or above, a small lightweight thermal insulator durable against the high temperature heat generated from the heat generating body, and an incinerator incorporating the heat generating body and/or the thermal insulator.
SOLUTION: Silica pearlite obtained by thermally blowing silica is admixed with sodium chloride, magnesium silicate, and metal powder, as required, along with water and then kneaded and dried to produce a thermal insulation material 20 for partitioning a combustion chamber 40. The combustion chamber 40 is filled with heat generating bodies 30 obtained by coating the surface of carbonic granules produced by crushing charcoal, coal, or the like, thus realizing an incinerator. When the heat generating bodies 30 in the combustion chamber 40 is conducted through electrode plates 52, 54, heat is generated from the heat generating bodies and when exhaust smoke or exhaust gas is introduced into the combustion chamber 40 and burnt again, noxious substances contained in the exhaust smoke, or the like, are removed for rendered innoxious.
