Abstract:
To provide a heat insulating fabric for clothing and clothing using the same in which: by using a specific double weave texture which includes a normal yarn and a multifilament yarn made of a polyester containing a heat-accumulating agent and having the multifilament yarn napped, any design of the appearance of a fabric is allowed even if a normal yarn is used; and by making a backing fabric into a napped layer, the touch feeling is improved and a heat insulating property of the fabric is improved.SOLUTION: In a heat insulating fabric for clothing having a double weave texture and clothing using the same, a yarn forming the double weave texture includes a normal yarn and a multifilament yarn made of a polyester containing a heat-accumulating agent. The multifilament yarn made of the polyester containing the heat-accumulating agent is exposed most abundantly on one side of the double weave texture; the normal yarn is exposed most abundantly on the other side of the double weave texture; and the multifilament yarn made of the polyester and exposed on the one side of the double weave texture is in a napped state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
