Abstract:

To provide a heat insulating foundation structure for preventing termites, which can prevent a building arranged on a resin foam panel member and a foundation from being damaged due to termites living under the ground and rising via the resin foam panel member.

There is provided a heat insulating foundation structure 1 which is obtained by securing a resin foam panel member 8 at least on the outside of a house foundation structure having a foundation erected portion which extends from placed concrete under the ground to a ground sill bar of the house. An inorganic hardenable material layer 10 made of an inorganic hardenable material is formed at least on an external surface of the resin foam panel 8. Further, an invasion preventing means is provided which prevents invasion of termites living under the ground, into the resin foam panel material 8 through a joint between the resin foam panel material 8 and the inorganic hardenable material layer 10, and the concrete, a joint between the resin foam panel member 8 and the inorganic hardenable material layer 10, and cracked portions of the inorganic hardenable material layer 10.
