Title:
HEAT INSULATING LINING MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003002757
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a heat insulating lining member which has excellent durability in a part where heat insulating properties are required and a shock and frictional force are applied and which also has excellent workability.

The heat insulating lining member made of ceramics obtained by stacking and integrating a dense ceramics layer having a specific gravity of 1.0 to 2.5 and an expanded ceramic layer having a specific gravity of 0.2 to 1.0 without interposing a binder and exhibits a total specific gravity of 0.4 to 1.0. The heat insulating lining member which is a laminate comprising three or more layers wherein two layers or at least one of the outermost layers is a dense ceramics layer. Either of the above heat insulating lining members wherein the dense ceramics layer is a low expanded or unexpanded ceramics layer. Particularly the above heat insulating lining member which has a total thickness of 15 to 150 mm and in which each dense ceramics layer has a thickness of 1 to 15 mm.
