This heat-insulating paper cup for microwave oven is equipped with a paper cup main body comprising a body member and a bottom member, and having a rim on the bottom, and an external cylinder on the outer periphery of the paper cup main body. In this case, a metal tape having at least a metal layer is affixed extending to a region shielding the rim on the bottom of the external cylinder, or extending to the region shielding the rim on the bottom of the external cylinder and the bottom section of the rim on the bottom.
