To receive food and drink, such as SUSHI or the like which are placed on a circulating conveyor, and permit the heat retaining or the cold heat retaining of such food and drink simply by a method wherein a food and drink receiving space is provided in a vessel body capable of being placed on the circulating conveyor while a heat insulating space is provided around the food and drink receiving space of the vessel body.
The periphery of a bottomed cylindrical vessel body 6, having a size capable of being placed on a flat chain, is covered by a cover body 7 while the vessel body 6 and the cover body 7 are formed of a plastic material having a low heat conductivity. The inside of a cylindrical partitioning tube 6a, projected on the inner bottom surface of the vessel body 6, is used for a food and drink receiving space for receiving a beer bottle K1 while the outer periphery of the beer bottle K1, received in the food and drink receiving space, is wrapped by a cold heat retaining material T1, received in a cold heat retaining space at the outside of the partitioning tube 6a, to cool beer. When the cover body 7 is incorporated, a heat insulating space is formed between the peripheral wall 6b of the vessel body 6 and the cover body 7.
