To obtain a heat insulating wall material having an excellent heat insulating property by adhering a hydroxide of an alkaline metal or of an alkaline earth metal and a water absorbing material comprising at least one of an organic and an inorganic compound on the inside of a wall material to avoid an adverse effects on a urethane system to eliminate carbon dioxide and water that is produced by a side reaction of the carbon dioxide gas adsorption reaction, and making a part of the urethane foam as open cells to quickly manifest a heat insulating effect, and a method for manufacturing the same.
This heat insulating material 6 is constituted from closed cells 7, open cells 8 and foamed walls 9, and volatile foaming agents are filled in the closed cells 7 and the open cells 8, and the inside of the wall material is adhered with carbonates 10 of an alkali metal and an alkaline earth metal which are the products of carbon dioxide with an alkali metal and an alkaline earth metal hydroxides and with a water absorbing material 11 absorbed water.
