Abstract:
This heating device (25) for heating medium is equipped with a PTC heater (33) which heats a heating medium within a heating medium passage. The PTC heater (33) comprises: a plate-shaped PTC element (61); a plate-shaped heater body (60) obtained by laminating both sides of the PTC element (61); a frame member (80) comprising an insulating material provided so as to surround the side surfaces of the heater body (60); and a gap-forming section which comes into contact with part of the side surface of the heater body (60) so as to form a gap (88) between the side surface of the heater body (60) and the inside surface of the frame member (80). A gap (88) is formed on both sides of the gap-forming section, viewed from the thickness direction.
