To provide a heat pipe which is easy of handling.

A heat pipe 10 is equipped with an aluminum heat cylinder 13 both whose ends are blocked with end plates 11 and 12 made of, for example, aluminum, and an aluminum heat source pipe 14 which extends through that cylinder 13. An injection passage 15 for injecting a heat medium into the cylinder 13 is made in one end plate 11. A ball 16 for sealing the injected heat medium is press-fitted in the injection path 15. Furthermore, there is a case that an adhesive is applied to the injection port. Accordingly, an inflow path projecting out of the end plate 11 becomes needless.
