Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe that can prevent a container from breaking against volume expansion of working fluid due to freezing, especially, volume expansion due to water freezing while a heat pipe does not operate even when the heat pipe is installed and used while water that is working fluid is stored in the container.SOLUTION: A heat pipe includes: a cylindrical container; and water encapsulated in the container. In the heat pipe, a heat transfer part having a heat conductivity that is higher than that of the water and thermally connected to the container is installed on at least one end face part inside the container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
