To provide a heat pump capable of increasing the amount of radiating heat in a condenser compared with a conventional condenser and capable of obtaining warm air or hot-water having a temperature higher than before.
The heat pump H is provided with a main heat pump h1 and an auxiliary heat pump h2. The main heat pump h1 is provided with the condenser 1, an expansion valve 2, an evaporator 3 and a compressor 4. The auxiliary heat pump h2 is provided with a condenser 1a, an expansion valve 2a, an evaporator 3a and a compressor 4a. The evaporator 3 of the main heat pump hl and the condenser 1a of the auxiliary heat pump h2 are housed in a heat exchanging vessel 5. Anti-freeze of propylene glycol 50 is filled into the heat exchanging vessel 5 as a refrigerant. The refrigerant HFC-134a is employed by the main heat pump h1 and the refrigerant R-22, having a boiling point lower than that of the refrigerant HFC-134a, is employed for the auxiliary heat pump h2.
