Title:
Heat pump cycle
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6044285
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
A heat pump cycle (2) is provided with a refrigerant circuit (10) and a cooling water circuit (40). A heat exchanger (70), which exchanges heat between a refrigerant (RF), cooling water (WT) and air (AR), is disposed between the refrigerant circuit (10) and the cooling water circuit (40). The heat exchanger (70) is provided with an outdoor heat exchanger (16) that functions as an evaporator in heating operations, and a radiator (43) for dissipating heat in the cooling water. The flow rate of the cooling water (WT) that flows through the radiator (43) is adjusted in response to the progress of a heat pump operation. The cooling water (WT) supplies a quantity of heat when the heat pump operation starts. The cooling water (WT) suppresses the amount of frost that is deposited while the heat pump operation continues, and the cooling water (WT) stores heat for defrosting while the heat pump operation continues. The cooling water (WT) is supplied to the outdoor heat exchanger (16) and is used for defrosting after the heat pump operation has ended.
