Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater which executes a defrosting operation in which durability of a compressor has been improved.SOLUTION: In the case of executing a defrosting operation for melting frost formation in an evaporator 6, a heat pump water heater executes one defrosting operation out of: a first defrosting operation in which a refrigerant circuit is constituted so that a refrigerant flows in a compressor 1, a four-way valve 2, an evaporator 6, a decompression device 5, a radiator 4 and the four-way valve 2 in this order; and a second defrosting operation in which the refrigerant circuit is constituted so that the refrigerant flows in the compressor 1, the four-way valve 2, the radiator 4, the decompression device 5, the evaporator 6 and the four-way valve 2 in this order. The heat pump water heater can be provided which executes the defrosting operation in which durability of the compressor has been improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
