To solve the problems in a conventional heat pump hot water supplying machine that a device is enlarged because heating capacity is controlled with the coolant quantity of an accumulator in a refrigerating cycle using coolant for forming a super critical cycle of carbon dioxide or the like, and the heating capacity is deteriorated, when the temperature of a fluid to be heated is incraesed, to reduce the performance coefficient.
This machine has a compressor for compressing the coolant to a super critical pressure, a radiator for heat-exchanging the coolant discharged from the compressor with the fluid to be heated, an expansion valve for reducing the pressure of the coolant to a critical pressure or lower, a coolant circuit having an evaporator connected thereto to form a coolant circulating passage, and a cooler for cooling the fluid to be heated carried into the radiator. The cooling quantity of the fluid to be heated is adjusted in the cooler, and the outlet temperature of the coolant from the radiator is controlled to a prescribed temperature or lower.
