To provide a heat pump system that can be efficiently operated.SOLUTION: A heat pump system 10A includes: a fuel cell 12 in which heat is generated with power generation; an electric heat pump 14 including a first refrigerant line L1 for circulating refrigerant, a compressor 22B provided to the first refrigerant line L1 and driven by power generated by the fuel cell 12, an outdoor unit 26, an expansion valve VC1 and an indoor unit 24; and an exhaust gas heat exchanger 20 for imparting heat to the refrigerant of the first refrigerant line L1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
