Abstract:
To provide an efficient heat pump using a magnetic fluid by selecting a magnetic fluid to be used to improve efficiency of a device even in a drive unit with a magnetic fluid as a working material.
The heat pump uses a magnetic fluid, and the magnetic fluid has a straight-chain molecular structure in which magnetic atoms are disposed at both ends. Properties of magnetic materials are utilized for division into two states, where magnetic fields are applied and are not applied, thus achieving an efficient heat pump having a heat exchange function for alternately emitting and absorbing heat.
