Title:
HEAT RADIATOR OF LASER SCANNING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007311524
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a low cost, small and light weight laser scanning apparatus which does not need a heat radiating member other than the circuit board on which a laser light emitting device is mounted and does not need a circuit board having a special structure.

The laser scanning apparatus includes a laser diode 12 for emitting laser light, and the circuit board 11 on which the laser diode 12 is mounted. A heat radiating pattern 112 for radiating the heat generated by the laser diode 12 is formed in a conductive layer on one surface of an insulating board 111 of the circuit board 11, a wiring pattern 113 electrically connected to the laser diode 12 is formed in a conductive layer on the other surface thereof, and the circuit board 11 is fixed to the sidewall 21 of the housing of the laser scanning apparatus by fixing screws 15. The heat generated by the laser diode 12 is transmitted to the heat radiating pattern 112 of the circuit board 11, and is radiated from this heat radiating pattern 112.
