Abstract:

To provide an expanded graphite sheet having heat resistance and oxidation consumption resistance required as the ones sufficiently satisfying durability even in the temperature range of 700C, and to provide its production method.

The heat resistant expanded graphite sheet essentially composed of expanded graphite, and comprises phosphorous pentoxide and phosphate, and at least either a boron compound or a yttrium compound in a dispersed manner.
